EAKL commenced business in 1992 with a clear mission — to shake up the limited fresh produce scene in Malaysia. At the time, imported fresh produce like kiwi, berries, avocado, romanesco and baby spinach were unfamiliar to most. Driven by opportunity, the team of just 8 people worked tirelessly to introduce these specialty items to 5-stars hotels, restaurant chains & supermarkets — opening the doors to a new era of fresh choices.

The business expanded which allowed us to start direct importing. We were the first to change the way fresh fruits were delivered by using refrigerated instead of canvas-covered trucks to ensure customers get the freshest produce.

EXPANDING NORTHWARD
To support growing demand in Penang and the Northern region, we started a branch with 4,000 sq ft facility near Bayan Lepas, Penang. The new distribution centre allowed us to extend our reach, ensuring more customers have access to high quality fresh produce.

BIRTH OF SEAFOOD SUBSIDIARY

Established in 2007, C-Food Portions (CFP) specializes in the import and distribution of premium seafood, primarily sourced from Norway, the USA, Chile, and Tasmania. As a pioneer in vacuum-packed portion cuts, CFP processes its products in a clean, temperature-controlled facility to ensure maximum freshness and food safety.

KOTA KINABALU, SABAH

A branch was established in Kota Kinabalu to better serve our customers in Sabah. With full cold-chain facilities, EAKK offers a wide range of imported fruits, vegetables, and seafood to meet the growing demand for quality produce in the region.

EURO-ATLANTIC JOHOR BAHRU (EAJB)

EAJB was established to serve our customers in Johor Bahru and the southern region of Malaysia. In addition to distributing fresh produce, EAJB also offers innovative consumer packaging— especially for Singaporeans who cross the border for their weekly grocery shopping.

LAUNCH OF KINO FRESH SDN BHD

The Group expanded its footprint in the fresh produce wholesale sector with the launch of KF. Its target market is small retailers, fruit shops, suburban traders & wet markets. With KF, we achieved our objective to serve 3 core sectors – modern trade, HORECA & wholesale.

NEW BRANCH IN KUCHING, SARAWAK

Continuing its growth, EA Group opened its distribution centre in Kuching. The branch has cold-chain facilities to safeguard product freshness from storage to delivery. This strategic expansion brings premium specialty produce closer to consumers in Kuching and the surroundings.

Euro-Atlantic Group was awarded the coveted Asia Fruits Award – Importer of the Year 2020, It gives us not only the stature but encouragement to excel further in the produce business. This milestone marked a proud moment in the Group’s history.

30th Anniversary

On 3rd September 2022, the company marked its 30th anniversary with a gala dinner at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Board members and shareholders—Ebby Loo, CH Tan, Eric Goh, Jocelyn Chan, and AT Ang—joined over 260 employees in celebrating this memorable evening.

2025

1992 : HUMBLE START

Euro-Atlantic started in 1992 with just 8 staff in a small shophouse in Ampang, Selangor. Today, we’ve grown into 7 companies, 350 employees, and a fleet of 55+ chiller trucks. In 2025, we moved into our new 5-storey building along Middle Ring Road 2, Kuala Lumpur. This is the first GBI-certified green building in the fresh produce industry in Malaysia, equipped with modern cold chain facilities.
